Thanks. Yes, Lance and I share September 18. I think he celebrates his cancer free day as his "birthday" now, though, which might be October 4?

Now, if we could only share mitochondria...

HBD!! HAve a good one, you contributor you. : ) nmSintesi

Proud Doug

i adapted from Proud Mary by Tina Turner

He left a good job in the city
Workin' for the man every night and day
His Esquire never lost one minute a sleeping
Worried about the way things might have been

Both wheels keep on turnin'
Proud Dougie keeps on burnin', rollin', rollin'
Rollin' on his birthday
Rollin, rollin, rollin on his birthday

If you gonna' do some cyclin'
I betcha you're gonna find some people who live
You don't have to worry
Cause you have no money
People who ride are just happy to give

I said both wheels keep on turnin'
Proud Dougie keeps on burnin', rollin', rollin'
Rollin' on his birthday
Rollin', rollin', rollin' on his birthday
have a great day--on OR off the bike (nm)ColnagoFE

Ate sushi out with the wife and kid, and got a pair of Bianchi socks from my wife that say "Your Bike Sucks." Life is good.

Thats a good idea...start him on sushi earlyKristin

Then he'll eat anything at all for the rest of his life. You'll never have trouble at dinner time. Is he handy with chopsticks yet?
Your bike sucks. LMAO... nmSpinchick

Really. I almost did on my group race/ride last night, but chickened out.
Your sure there is no hidden meaning in those socks? nm ;-)Kristin

Thanks a lot. I never gave my wife that much credit for innuendo (assuming you can even call that innuendo). That's really funny. I was blissfully ignorant of that meaning, and now you spoiled it. She probably thinks I'm a dolt for not having gotten it. She'll get a kick out it when I mention it to her, I'm sure.

Sorry, Just doing my job. (nm)Kristin

Perhaps a typo???4bykn

Maybe the socks should say
b Your Bike Socks

Could start a whole line of "obvious" clothing:
Your Bike Jerseys
Your Bike Shorts
Happy Birthday Doug! Enjoy the socks.... nmempacher6seat
