yes, i'll admit i have a penchant for gaudy yard art. not quite the front yard from "pee wee's big adventure", but i'm working on it. :)

anybody know where i can mail-order (or e-purchase) a yard / garden gnome statue(ette)?

TIA and ta-ta

I did a story for my newspaper on gnomes a year or so ago. As the other post said, there are a ton of online sources. But one company in England (sorry I don't have the Web site, and I don't have time to look for it) has some gnomey-looking critters based on real political figures. There's a Queen Mum gnome (used to be; she was alive then), a Liz gnome, John Major, Prince Charles, I think W. and others.

Dead serious. Weird collector stuff is a bargain there. I bet if you simply search "gnome" you'll get more than you know what to do with, for 1/4 retail and reasonable shipping. Good luck.
