|Shelby Susannah-Jean arrived July 3, 2002. Eight pounds, 6 ounces, 21 inches... All is well, ended up with a c-section but I'm actually feeling pretty good already. A few pics to follow...the first is just proof that she was riding a bike before she was born...|

|"Every Man, Woman, Child and Shelby Susannah-Jean Too" |
We, the peoples of RBR
We hold these truths
for all creation.
We hold these truths,
Only we can make more evident.
Every living soul is worthy of a deep respect.
We welcome baby Spinchick here by birth,
We the keepers of RBR and the Earth,
Give every man, woman, and child
Our human rights:
The right to live long as we have to live,
The right to share all that is here to share.
The right to give all we have come to give.
The right to ride with mom in the clean fresh air

|and congrats to you and Spindaddy and the rest of your Spinfamily.
Her birthdate adds up to the number five. I see her growing up being close to her spinmama, destined to learn the value of faith and family; while at the same time teaching you some lessons on life as well. May she be loyal and practical, and create personal support systems whereever she goes in life. Learning and teaching are important to fives, who do well in teaching, counseling, and management professions. My father was a five, and he was a respected school teacher/administrator/coach in his prof. life. Fives also are drawn toward music as a way of energizing themselves - so be sure to dance with her alot when she grows up.
Fives desire to see how ideas can be turned into something concrete. Thus they are drawn toward the creative arts, and to Taurus people. Taurus is the sign known for turning beauty and creativity into actuality; thus they tend to reflect those aspects of a five person.
Finally, she will have life challenges. As a five, these include a fear of defeat; that old hurts will resurface to be repeated; of emotional disappointment. She will experience anxious times where she will hold back and be frustrated, for her creative energies will be blocked and limited. To overcome her challenges she shall have to focus her attention and fall back on her strengths - her family and personal support systems, her faith in her ideas, her faith in her ability to create and implement; and through it all, the lessons she will learn through life having to do with letting go.
Which leads me to tell you what I see as one of your important missions in bringing her up.... do not let her develop into a packrat.
|That's great, Starliner...||Spinchick|

|Sounds a good bit like me :-). As far as the packrat avoidance, that will definetely be up to me since her daddy is one of the biggest packrats I've ever known. A good thing in some cases since he has been the one to put together little keepsake boxes with early memories for both girls.
