Santa Claus, born January 5, 1836, died at Yukon Memorial Hospital Saturday. He is survived by his wife of 134 years and 548 elves.

Claus became well known for his philanthropic efforts each December, distributing toys to children world wide. He was loved by many who came to regard him as an intregral part of their holiday season. His passion for bringing joy to small children each Christmas day will not be soon forgotten.

Private services to take place at the North Pole Celestial Chapel, and will be presided over by his dearest friend of many years, Rudolph.
