What to do when bored???liu02bhs

I'm bored like a mofo. Movies and the stuff just don't cut it anymore. Everyone's got job and stuff. What do people do to get rid of the boredom. I can't go to the good clubs yet.

When I'm bored I like to get all hooped up on homemade moonshine and go knock over a liquor store. Not for the money, just for the kicks.

I tried a bank once, but the FBI gets involved there and it's not pretty.
brilliant response...cracked me up. Oh, to be 17 and bored! nm128

waiting for my first order to arrive.

otherwise, my suggestions are: get married, have kids, buy a house. these things will keep you "in the weeds" for years.

What's a SO?
I don't feel like to committ a felony as such an young age.
Too young to get married. Otherwise it's a good suggestion.

I'm bored on my job too. Lifeguarding. I find it hard to watch all the patron. Instead, I focus on specific ones, if you know what I mean. None the less, it's a boring job.

S.O. is a significant other, aka, wife, husband, spouse, life partner, or person with whom you're currently sleeping but feel uncomfortable referring to as girlfriend, boyfriend, or, even worse, lover. You're probably too young for an SO at this point. However, if you are still under 18 now may be your last good chance to commit a felony without doing serious prison time.
another reason to consider crime! :) nmmr_spin

...somebody who needs it, weed the garden, learn to play the harmonica, clean the garage, mow the lawn, go for a walk, ride a century, do the laundry, study Spanish, wash the dog, kill your television, catch a fish, do pushups, clean your room, get a library card.
Sorry, man, but unless you're locked up somewhere, boredom is the universal sign of stupidity.
dude, work on your bikes...dustin73

that's what i did almost every friday and saturday night last year when my roommates when out and partied at the clubs (can't get drunk if i plan to spend the weekend riding, you know...'course, i'm not old enough to legally get drunk, either, so clubs would suck). needless to say my social life is lacking, but i sure know my way around a bike now.

Learn some new skill, something that interests you. About 10 years ago, I took a woodworking class because handmade stuff always appealed to me. Ended up making a bunch of really nice furniture until I ran out of room for any more. After that, I took some art classes and started painting. I had drawn a lot as a kid, but just quit doing it in college. It all came back to me very quickly and I'm doing better work than ever. You're young enough that you might find a career that way, trying out some new areas. I wish I had started painting when I was your age -- I might be doing that for a living now.
