Nicely Put...jrm

not since 1980 have americans poured so much gas into their vehicles . . .

quantity over quality

blind, ignorant consumerism

false safety

milktoast impression

false assumption of wealth

almost 50% of americans are overweight and so are their vehicles

stop watching the media and pay attention folks, this so called war is all about the oil, the terrorist movement has long been planned out so we can go over and kill and take what is not ours.

buy an suv, put a big flag on it and what do you have ? the most abominable hypocrisy yet ! think about what our president is doing and what it's like for the people in the middle east while your pumping gas into that big, ugly lumbering piece of waste.

oh, and FYI i'm not a terrorist or a commie or a hippie, just a concious american.

I wouldn't disagree with much of that except the part about "the terrorist movement has long been planned out so we can go over...."
Are you suggesting that the US planned all this? I would argue it was blind ignorance that got us here, but certainly the government is spinning it all the way they want to support future, underlying goals like securing oil.
I agree with you, conscious American.

Bush siezed the opportunity. I find it hard to believe that anyone would have purposely allowed this to happen. further, Bush is at least nominally Methodist - he would have to answer to God if he did (although God's answer to him would probably not quite be what he's expecting).
