Food for a weekendWoof the dog

say, I go away for a weekend of racing and don't want to spend any money on food. I wanna go shopping to a grocey store and buy good, cheap, nutritious food for snacks and postride meal.

So far on my list:
Bagels
cream cheese
cheese
Jam
carrots
pop tarts
big bottles of juice
Tuna fish
spam
nuts

I need more ideas, the cheaper the better!
Peace

I'd also replace the pop tarts with granola bars, but to each his own. But you may be forgetting the one that will put you over the top, peanut butter.

I second the SPAM, they could torture me with that one. Peanut Butter (natural) no salt, no sugar is yummy!
Yep. Peanut Butter and Fig Newtons. nmBrooks

A dog that drinks milk?

Or are you thinking of supplementing your diet with lured-in cats?
