|...I noticed you disappeared for a few days there, hope everything is well. Is the chicklette excited about her impending baby sister. I remember my oldest son was so excited about his little brother, promised to take care of him and everything, now if only I could get him and his youngest brother to get along. I'll say a prayer for you and if you ever want to chat send me an email firstname.lastname@example.org|

|Yep, she's pretty excited. I think she'll get even more excited when she realizes she'll be the BIG sister and will have someone to boss around. The dogs just aren't listening to her as much anymore.
Thanks for asking.

|This brought back a memory of my second daughter's impending birth: My older daughter (there's nine years between them)said that when her younger sibling would be born, if it was a girl it'd be her sister, but if it was a boy it'd be her cousin! Can you tell which she wanted????|

|...a daughter having 2 boys already. Nope, we got Jason, a dimpled, cheerful, non-stop ball of testosterone. I sure love him, I love all 3 boys, but I still wish I had a girl to pamper.|

|The other weekend I was teaching the kiddo how to air guitar to the "Well Respected Kinks." "Tired of Waiting for You" came on and she claimed this would be her special song for her little sister. Now when people ask her if she's excited about having a baby sister, she starts singing this song.|

|Yesterday, on the way home I noticed a huge mobile crane being set up near our place at a Safeway renovation. I was curious so I stopped by and asked what was happening and the site foreman said they were lifting a 12,000lb AC compressor onto the roof at 7:00am the next day. When I got home I asked the boys if they wanted to get up early and go to watch. Lucas (11) said no, of course he wanted to sleep in, but the other 2 said "YES". So Adam (7) woke me up at 6:30 and we woke up Jason (5) and went up to watch. It was a nice little expedition, the sort thats makes being a parent special!
Enjoy, I am! :)
