It feels like someone is trying to give you a nasal-entry lobotomy with a red-hot ice-pick. My left eye is still watering over an hour later. If this thing swells like my shin did when I was stung last month, I'm going to look like I went 15 rounds with Tyson. |

Some type of insect flew up one of my nostrils and the only way I could get it out was by snorting combined with a lot of yelling as it hurt like the dickens. Those little flying critters can do a lot of damage... |

Oct 28, 2001 5:33 PM | | The stupid part is that I'm pretty sure I put the bee up my own nose. I was riding along and thought my nose was running, so I wiped it with the back of my hand. As soon as I did, I felt a stinging sensation in my nose and had no clue what it was. Then I felt something in there and blew out a bee. In hindsight, I'm pretty sure what felt like a runny nose was actually the bee at the base of my nose. When I tried to wipe, I pushed the bee up into my nose with my hand. Oh well. |
