PsyDoc Jr. Has Arrived!!PsyDoc

Hi All.

Just a quick note to let you know that my son arrived into this world last night at 10:49. He is healthy and fine, as is his mother. He was 6 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches long. For those of you who are first time dad's, you are in for the most amazing time of your life!! Labor and delivery was incredible!!

We checked into the hospital at 5:45 and Stacey's labor progressed quite rapidly at 1cm every 35-45 minutes. I do not know what else to write as all I can think about is getting back to the hospital.
Congratulations, Dad!McAndrus

It's pretty cool, huh?

Now comes the good part: food, clothes, toys, games, school books, more food, more clothes, girls (!!), cars, dental bills, doctor bills, and - did I mention food?

And you know what? It's worth every penny you spend and every hour of sleep you'll lose.

Congratulations! Even though my children are grown, I still remember how proud and excited I was at the time of delivery.

Congratulations.

I too remember (21 yrs later) how amazing the birthing process was.

How hard was it for you to watch someone you care about in pain & know that there wasn't much you could do about it? For me, this was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Mind you, I still think the birth of my four children were some of the brightest moments of my life.

Hope your wife is doing OK.

The fun is just beginning.

What a cutey your boy is. Lucky girl your wife - pretty darn quick labor for a first baby. I hope I can be half as lucky.

Congratulations on a fine looking boy. I hope he brings as much joy to your family as mine did to me. Oh, excellent choice of names and spelling, by the way.

What a fantastic experience. I'll never forget when my first was born. Holding him right after delivery I was the proudest man in the world.
It's amazing how you can instantly love someone so much, the true meaning of love at first sight, and something you'll never forget.
It's no less special with the second, but different mainly because you know what to expect. Maybe a little less scary too.
Again, Congratulations
Congrats to Mom, Dad, and PsyDoc Jr.!!!js5280

Hmmmm. . .should measurements be stated; inseam, arm length, shoulder width? ;-)
I have already taken...PsyDoc

...those measurements, but I have not decided on a "custom" frame builder. Then, I have to decide whether to go Shimano or Campy. Perhaps I should also contact Shimano and Campy and see if I can convince them to begin making "kid" versions of their components (ha ha).

What a beautiful little guy, I spent quite a while admiring the pictures and thinking of my 3 boys (now 5,7,11). It brought a tear or two to my eyes, I wish your family much joy and love!
Thanks Again,
Gord

Thanks for the pic, and congrats! Parenthood is the bestest thing in the world, IMHO. Nothing quite sounds better than "I love you, Daddy". Just wait; your life will NEVER be the same from here on out.
