Bike/skiiing Freds!look271

I took my 9 yr old daughter skiing on Fri and when we eating lunch, I looked up and saw a guy with a yellow USPS/TREK bike jersey on. This is TOTALLY unacceptable! While it may be "OK" to wear bike clothes underneath skiing clothes and vice versa, you may not, under any circumstance, wear them as an outer layer! There, now I feel better. :-)

I do find that it makes you keep a nice flat smooth pedal stroke - else the tips tend to dig in and push you off the back of the bike....

the poles allow you to unclip at the stoplights without toppling over! But unarguably, the use of handle bar tape non-matching ski poles is unacceptable!

ZvierBoy - still looking for my color approved ski poles...
Plusmuncher.

If I ride my steel bike, I can cut down weight by taking of my Recco locators, as the transponders get a hit of the frame....

Reminds me of a moment of my own Fred-dom. I went for a group ride years ago and, thinking that it was colder than it was, I wore booties. It was 60 F.
