rest in peace George Harrison...Tig

Sad news today about his death from cancer at age 58. His presence will be missed by so very many fans, including me. He was known for his low public profile, humor, wisdom, and love.
a very underrated guitaristmr_spin

Clapton, Beck, Hendrix and Page are always singled out from that era, and Harrison is often left out. The guy was an awesome player and very influential on other players and music in general. Even today, in those recent "new" Beatles songs, you can hear his wicked slide work.

And I always found it interesting that John, Paul, and Ringo all agree that the best song the Beatles ever did was Harrison's "Something." That's an amazing compliment given all those incredible Lennon/McCartney songs.

It is a sad day for music fans. Whether you like the Beatles or not, they are still influencing music today. The way it's written. The way it's played. The way it's recorded. The way it's sold.

Sunrise doesn't last all morning

A cloudburst doesn't last all day

Seems my love is up and has left you with no warning

It's not always going to be this grey

All things must pass

All things must pass away

Sunset doesn't last all evening

A mind can blow those clouds away

After all this, my love is up and must be leaving

It's not always going to be this grey

All things must pass

All things must pass away

All things must pass

None of life's strings can last

So, I must be on my way

Now the darkness only stays the night-time

In the morning it will fade away

Daylight is good at arriving at the right time

It's not always going to be this grey

All things must pass

All things must pass away

All things must pass

All things must pass away

I never actually said that I wished that, it is just a fact and
maybe I was feeling a little mischievious and trying to rile
you up a little. Sorry if I offended.
Apology accepted.Sintesi

to see such a gifted artist and a good man be so addicted and committed to a substance that they are willing to die for it. As full a life as he had,I'm sure there was more he would have liked to do. It's just sad, thats all.
