I'm no chicklets expert. The only time I buy them is when I'm drunk in Tijuana.

Lonefront,

This sounds like the perfect treat, and something that the masters at Ben & Jerry's would've come up with. Please tell me there really IS such a heavenly creation.

There go my thoughts of staying in shape and starting to race in the spring. Mmmm...BEAR claws!

Does it exist?

Cheers,
Nige

Although you may have a difficult time finding it. I couldn't find it for a long time out here in Colorado, and was beginning to think it was a regional thing - the Midwesterners are a serious challenge to the South on the incredibly fattening food items list. I've lost 10 lbs simply having been cut off from my bi-weekly doses of Skyline Chili ;-)

Bear claw ice cream = Dark chocolate (similar to Edy's Grand "Serious Chocolate" base, with caramel fudge swirl and chocolate-covered cashew nuts (the 'bear claws').

Texas Gold, Blue Bunny and Edy's Grand all produce a version of this flavor. Look in the "gourmet" ice cream section. I don't know that B&J makes this, but it's becoming more popular, same as "cookie dough" did a few years ago.

I got sidetracked and ended up taking my daughter to Disneyland instead of going to the store. However, I'll try to take care of as many of you as possible with what we've got at home.

For Kristin, my wife always has some gum and you're welcome to some. Sorry, it's not Chiclets. We have no tequila (see below).

mr_spin, I'm sure my wife also has something that will fit your special needs.

For Haiku-dude, the only alcohol we've got is a few bottles of cider my wife has been forced to drink since a medical condition precludes beer consumption, a half-empty and very old bottle of Jagermeister, and some cooking sherry. Say the word and it's all yours.

Spinchick, we've got only a few of the things on your list: bleu cheese dressing, potatoes (you'll have to bake them yourself), bacon, cheddar cheese, and frozen french fries.

LFR, we've got about 1/3 of a gallon of Breyer's vanilla ice cream and a pint of Dreyer's raspberry sorbet. No Johnny Walker of any color, but see above regarding limited alcohol availability. You're welcome to anything J doesn't want.

Finally, although I'll get killed for offering up these items, we've got a brand-new red Mickey-Mouse helium balloon, and an infant/toddler sized set of black Mickey-Mouse ears with "Luke" embroidered on the back. Again, I apologize to everyone who placed an order in vain. I hope you will still allow me to play here.
