was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no. Seriously, I don't think it is over yet. We haven't even completed the first goal of this mission but we may be closer.
Don't you mean Japanese? NMAndrew

cause last I heard most of the Taliban forces and Al Qaeda fighters had escaped unscathed, and that we'd lost 30+ of our Special Forces guys, mostly to friendly fire. Good to know we won--just like we won in Iraq! And yeah, if we could just kill that bin Laden guy, all our worries will be over! Yeeeeeehaw! Gotta love it when everything is so darn simple. Now if we could just find those suitcase nukes that have been smuggled into this country.

hey, I support the current military actions, but I think this thing is far from "won."
to clarify...gtx

everything except the last line was a tongue in cheek response, and I don't necessarily believe the suitcase nuke story. Don't believe everything you hear, but it's probably not wise to discount anything outright, either. It's hard to know what to believe during this kind of conflict. But you can be sure that CNN isn't telling the full story.
