|I am not a professional and, therefore, don't want to spend $50 per new tire. Can anyone recommend a decent 650c tire that won't break the bank and where to get it? Thanks.|

|Try this at BikeNashbar:
$24.95, great if you don't mind the ugly green color...

|I like the Kenda Koncepts...got my first pair on Ebay, but my LBS has since informed me that they can order them. Nice tire, but not as "sticky" (IMO) as the Axial Pros (my personal favorite). According to my LBS guru, Vittoria makes a nice 650c tire for not too much change (about $20 per tire, if I remember correctly). I haven't tried the Vittorias yet, but they're on the list when I kill all of the Axial Pros hanging on the wall.
Ask at your LBS- often what they stock is just a tiny sampling of what they can order through their distributor. Good luck in your search!
