Looking for a carbon fork with a 1" threaded alloy steerer tube. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

but not a piece of garbage either. It is not for a race bike, just something to smooth out the commute.

Check on Ebay, but make sure they measure the steerer well. nm.jw25

I bought an Ouzo Pro on ebay. Supposedly off a 54cm Litespeed. End up with 17.4cm (less than 7") steerer, so still a bit short even without spacers.

Not sure if you'll find a 1" aluminum threaded steerer, but there are alot of places clearing out decent 1" threaded forks (with a steel steerer) at the moment - Kestrel has their EMS (not too many sizes, though) for $100, and their EMS Pro for $150. Excel Sports has a Time Equipe Pro fork with a really short steerer for $88, and there is tons of stuff out there for $150 or so - just look around!
