Didn't win the thing, but I got an e-mail from the above screen name (different from seller) stating he was a wholesaler from "Canada" and the winning bidder had backed out. If I wanted the frame for the winning bidder's amount I should send the amount to him via westernunion.com (plus $50 shipping!)and it would be shipped from Pa. This obviously stunk. I deleted the e-mail in disgust. The real seller e-mailed me a day later and said everyone who bid on the frame heard from the guy. Seller reported this to e-bay. They didn't make up the saying, "caveat emptor" for nuthin'. |
