totalcycling.com in Ireland: Great prices. Okay? Or Not???BigFatSal

I'm looking at getting a new Look KG381i, built up nicely, at a very, very good price from totalcycling.com..... Has anyone bought from them? Are they legit? Their website seems very professional. This forum seems like it's mostly for EBay and other "private" sellers, but I'm a bit hesitant to buy from this retailer in Ireland who's offering great prices. Any experiences, comments, advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have purchased several sets of Look pedals, Continental tires, and some other items from Total Cycling over the years and they are very legitimate. One thing to be aware of though, he will not ship until he has received payment. I always pay by cedit card and it usually takes about 3 days for the amount to post to his account and then he ships the item. The prices are legit. Also his FAQ page has a great explanation concerning duties, when they apply, and how to figure the amount. If you do a search on www.roadbikereview for Total Cycling, you wil find nothing but positive comments.

I have nothing but good service from Total Cycling ...we usually get a cpl of guys to go in and get a larger order ...it seems the shipping was 17.00 ? no matter what you got ..so the more you order the better ...its been almost a year so not sure if he still uses the same shipping method ...but he does have great buys ..
But would you buy a complete bike????BigFatSal

My concern is that buying a Look KG 381i from them would be at a great price - but Veltec Sports, the US Distributor for Look has confirmed they wouldn't handle a warranty issue if it arose. But Total Cycling did say the frame would need to be shipped back to them for dealing with a warranty issue...... That's a bit risky.... Not sure if it's worth it.... Whaddaya think? Thanks!

Based on the dealings I have had with him, yes. I would be very sure about frame size, fit, components, etc., first before I placed the order though. I would look to try the same frame size here in the states and then order.
