I bid on a Trek 5900. Once bidding got higher than I was willing to pay, I bowed out. Over the last 3 days, I have gotten e-mails from 2 different "overseas" scammers, both offering me a brand new in the box 5900 in my size for well under retail. Both claim to be overseas.

I actually engaged one spammer in an e-mail volley in an effort to see how far they will take it. They just now requested a Western Union money transfer. IDIOTS!!

Anyway, here are the eBay IDs and any e-mail addresses I have. BTW, I think they have stolen the eBay IDs in an effort to gain credability through the eBay rating system:

#1: Nely Noby - eBay ID: kybaby1 - e-mail address used: neilynoby@yahoo.com

#2: OLARU CORNELIU ANDREI - eBay ID: gale340 - e-mail address: mm_loon_1951@yahoo.com - website: WWW.BIKES-AND-MOTORS.COM

Watch out for these scumbags.
