Has anyone dealt with Daniel Cosma? It seems a bit underpriced to have a dura-ace E5 (2003) for $1,400? Let me know...

agreed...I've also asked him about to put the dollars in escrow until receipt...and asked him to try and get in touch with him through other means besides email...I'm also near the DC area (where he says he's from - Woodbridge, VA) and offered to pick the bike up myself...haven't heard back from him, although I sent the message this morning...

I emailed this guy over the weekend asking about sizes of frames and a few other little details, I also asked about payment options (paypal, credit card, cashiers check, etc.) I did get a reply but the only thing he said was he only accepted money orders. He did not answer any questions about the bikes. Also, he stated that the shipping costs are included in the $1400.00 price. Come on, these bikes retail for over $4000.00! I plan on staying away from this guy. His deals ARE too good to be true. One other thing, there is no "D. Cosma" or "Daniel Cosma" listed in the directory for Woodbridge, VA or for the zip code he listed. Buyer beware.

i have been in contact with him and he will not call me or have any contact other than email. he also is not willing to use COD as payment. he wants me to western union him the money after he supplies me with UPS receipt and tracking number. after he gets money he will release bikes....yeah right!!! i really wanted this to be true but i believe this is totally bogus. he has stopped corresponding with me since i requested COD...BEWARE

This guy has to be a sponsored rider who is getting a free frame and getting components and wheels at a LBS's cost. As a sponsored rider I couldn't have built my 2003 E5 with Dura Ace and a wheelset for this price. The only way I would purchase it would be to see it and have a money order made out to cash.
