|Nester Mansen or firstname.lastname@example.org from Washington in the District of Columbia is trying to scam people for a Cannondale Gemini 1000 and for a Cannondale Gemini 900.
Both adds have similar bikes in the pictures. The add #'s are 50700 and 50702. He kept avoiding giving me his phone number and any technical details about the bike, like what kind of forks or brakes come on the bike. He will only negotiate if you are willing to send him the money in 1 hour. "see his statement below"
"I want to tell you that i have made the delivery by UPS Service, and i have in my hands the copy of the delivery.
If i will send you the scaned paper from the UPS Service, you will send me the money in 1 hour.
Reply me soon.
As soon as I emailed him back "Yes. I need the scanned tracking number so I can call the UPS 1-800 number and verify the bike is scheduled for delivery." HE NEVER RESPONDED BACK TO ME. I doubt he even has the bike.

|I'd be shocked if he were in the US. What American calls UPS "the UPS Service"?|

|I too emailed him and this is the same bike posted by a user who said he was from NJ a few weeks back. That item was deleted off of the board for some reason. When I asked to pick it up b/c I lived close I got no reply. As with the other one, they will email you back very fast, but as soon as you want to pick it up you will not get any reply. Also, no detailed info on bike (the listing is wrong) and only a moneygram. I asked to use a COD, if you're on the up and up that would be no problem, he only wants a moneygram. Here is one email from him: I want to tell you that i can make in this mode:
I will send you the bike by UPS Service, and after i confirm you that i
have made the delivery, you will pay me by MoneyGram.
Contact me soon!!
please be aware buyers, and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. It's these types that ruin it for the honest sellers.

|Nester appears to be a busy and creative boy! |
I'd rather not state what's wrong with his ad #33360
"Cannondale Cyclocross Disk bike like new".
Where the #$%@ can I get a bicycle like the one pictured for $950?!
