Just like the Bianchi post below I believe the Kevin Isaac post for CAAD 7 Saeco Team Replica's is a scam.

He has some other posts for Cannondales too

Seller lists L.A. address BUT his e mail looks to be in the U.K.

I mailed offering to pay cash in L.A. and got no response. Price he offers is well below employee purchase price which is about 15-20% below dealer cost--A big indication that something is wrong. Even if Cannondale was "blowing out" last years models they would not have gone so low AND other outlets (ala Supergo, etc) would have snatched them up before anyway.

I was also skeptical about these deals. I rec'd 2 replies from Kevin about the prices and he claimed:
1. Prices are in US dollars (I thought it was UK pounds judging from his UK email address)
2. Prices include delivery & "dispatch" taxes. Here's someone familiar with U.S. sales & taxes
3. Bikes are now in Florida
4. Payment is by Western Union.

There are more than enough warnings in his postings & replies that should make anyone deal with him only in the most protective way.

Buyers beware!
Don't pay anyone by Western Union (nm)53T

my two cents: It's simple. Why would you sell brandnew Bikes worth well over $3000 for $1300? I asked him how he could price them this competitively and got no real answer. ("..we need to sell it to buy something new", what kind of an answer is that?) Plus, the whole Cali/Britain/Florida thing is way scary.

I won't touch it.

There's a similar situation on ebay - the scam is running out of Canada though - when I offered to pay for, never heard from him again...

Why is the ad still running on this board? The ones on ebay tend to disappear before the required end date for the auction.
