I know Ashley, and know about both situations posted here. Both of you have received your money and your product. For you to post that someone is a crook, when you received what was yours, makes you a jerk and liar. I know about the fork and the reason. He had 3 people bid on that from ebay and had to honor the ebay auction. That is why he sent your money back. And he sent it via regular mail like you did is why it took it a week. Your're just pissed because you didn't get the great deal on the fork. As for user "DNAV"'s response, I was there when the bars arrived with the return to sender sticker. He contacted you via email to explain the situation and tell you that he would send them out ASAP. That meant on Monday when the psot office opened. If I'm not mistaken you said you got them 2 days later. Before you post such harsh accusations, ask the question, "Whose the "crooked" person here. A person that follows through with his end of the deal, whether to your liking or not, or someone who post that a person is a crook when nothing has been stolen. You really show your intellect by making an accusation and not understanding the meaning to such an elementary word. CROOK - a person who takes something that is not his without permission and doesn't return it. Next time think twice about your wording in posting a response. I will let Ashley know this is here and he can respond as well.

The seller should not try to sell something here if they have it listed on Ebay. I'm not saying this Ashley is a crook but it's not good business to sell something that they've listed on Ebay. IMHO Grooveman, you haven't helped your friend, Ashley, at all.

I do agree, Ashly should not be putting stuff on e.bay
then try to sell it elsewhere, sounds like a crook to me.

Well, if someone wants to sell something bad enough they will exhaust there all avenues to try and sell it. And whoever bites first is the winner. There is nothing wrong putting your item in more than one place. It increases your odds and that is smart business.
I'm not buying it and would not buy from you.gttrek

Good reminder for everyone not to buy from you, a good business transaction is honoring on a price agreed not
selling it to someone else if they offer higher.
Car dealers and other retailers don't practive this non ethical business procedure.
Try buying a used car after it is sold at a dealer.

I didn't say that I would sell to the highest price. I said that my chances of selling an item are increased by giving it more exposure. Why do you think ebay and MTBR charge extra for greater visibility. There is nothing unethical in that. Thats why you can buy the same CD at more than one location and sometimes they are different prices. It's called "smart business". You obviously don't own your own business or you would understand this.

The point you don't get, Mr. smart business man, is that when you list an item on e-bay it is immediatly not available for you to sell to someone else. It won't be available unless the auction ends with no bids, or failure to meet reserve.

Also, arguing in public is never smart business.

You can send me a tuition check for these lessons if you like.

finally, someone that agrees, you do not put stuff on e.bay
then advertise here, just does not work that way.
Hope Ashly gets bad rating on e.bay
