I send in my money and four weeks later still no bike. First he said he had to order it. Then, he said he was shipped the wrong size and he promised that I will get the bike the following week. Came the following week, still no bike because he had made a mistake sending the bike to a wrong address. This guy is a loose screw. He just kept making mistakes. He even send me a wrong tracking number for the shippment. And, he also forgot to send the receipt I have requested with the bike. The list just goes on and on. I still don't have my bike at this moment. I wouldn't be surprised if I open the box and see it is the wrong model. I wouldn't recommend buying a bike from this guy unless you don't mind waiting weeks after weeks for the bike because of his stupid and careless mistakes.

I explained the delay to this guy. I even offered him his money back at least twice. He didn't want his money back, he wanted the bargin! Well his bike was shipped and he was just as nice as can be until I told him his bike was shipped. Now he wants to cry about it. I gave him the option the bike or his money. Now I only wish I had delivered his bike in person so I could wrap it around his neck.

The reason I turned down the money back offer is because I thought I have already waited so long and I might have to wait even longer if I bought from somewhere else. Besides offering someone their money back doesn't bring back the wasted time. In business, you can't always offer someone their money back and think everything is all good. You need to polish your business skills and do things correct for your customer.

No, I think you turned down the multiple refund offers for the same reason you didn't deal with your lbs...the huge savings. Sorry you weren't happy but I get the feeling you compain about every deal and in every store you've ever been in.

When one finds a good deal, sometimes the service is not there. But, when someone provides a product for a good deal it does not mean you can give bad service. Not a good way to respond to an opinion specialized 2000. The customer is generallly right. By the way you might want to take some spelling classes.
I don't know about this transaction, but I'd buy from him againcarolj

I received just what I ordered and the price was super. I refered Alvis to several friends of one which bought a bike with no problems. I guess the guy above never makes typos.

I just found out that my bike will be delivered today. Alvis could have sent it via UPS ground (5 days) instead he sent it with the more expensive 2 day option. It's true that he makes many mistakes but at least he makes up for them in the end. I think I have come down too hard on him. My apology to Alvis.
Thank you.specialized_2000

Jake, please accept my apology for snapping at you. As long as you get your bike in good condition I'm happy. Thank you, Alvis

On my defense I will say the delay wasn't my fault, it was Jamis's. They've had a terrible time keeping up with demand this year.
apologiesFender
