the fact that you can't see thread outlines open the same way as they are in old one pretty much kills all interest. There're might be great replies somewhere under boring top posts I have no way look at. I had honestly tried! I haven't complained when my moniker was hijacked, but it is beyond me. Gregg, pls e-mail when new forum is fixed.
yeah, I keep going over there...Arnold Zefal

but I don't even bother to open up any posts. I tried, and I don't want to be a winer so I guess I'll have to find another diversion during work breaks. hopefully in the future there will be some improvements to make it fun again.
I am also out...TJeanloz

It's been fun, but I can't deal with the new forum. I can't even figure out how to log into the damn thing. It's too bad that the migration appears to have not worked out.

I'll miss hearing from everybody and posting, but I suppose it will make me a more productive member of society...
Struggling, but staying with it for awhile...Cory

It's getting a little easier for me, but I still don't like it. The old board was just about invisible, easy and intuitive to work the first time I logged on more than three years ago. If the new one becomes the same way within a week or two, I'll stick around. The alternative seems to be to boost my personal productivity, and I'll be damned if I'll give George Bush the satisfaction.
I used to check in daily-now it's bi-weekly..waaaaaayyy!!! nmDUOHEAD

whenever I would go to a different board I was always displeased with the architecture of it. I would come back to here and sigh in relief. It is really a shame that they felt the need to change. It's so easy to scan this board and get an overview of what's been going on that day, then quickly and easily read the posts that you're interested in.

Yeah, it sucks. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Good enough is never good enough for some people. That's the way it goes.

We have to give it time. I didnt like the new Serotta board either at first but now I do. The key is you can see all the responses at once on the old board. E Gregg and he will help you with the log in. I would hate to see some of the most knowledgeable people like T.Jeanloz leave the board.

You mention that this new forum software is similar to what Serrotta uses on their forum, and I couldn't agree more. That's why I've stopped going to Serrotta's forum. It was such a pleasure to come to this forum and see at a glance what I've already read. With the new forum, I go to a thread, and I have no idea what I've already read.

It's too bad but I suppose this is what it takes to wane me off from spending so much time on these boards. I, without any intend, find myself simply spending less and less time checking out the posts...or replies.... Just not the same... Actually it's all together different....
