I need help finding weekly training rides in Charlotte, NC. I moved down for school last semester at the end of the season for me pretty much but i am tryin to start base now so i need some long slower rides... maybe a few slightly faster but nothing race pace yet. Anyone got a comprehensive site they found or any tips?

Thanks

I actually am planning on doing that ride, i did it last year. I live on the university side, more specifically in the apartments across from starlight theatre.

What is the cycling scene in Charlotte like? Lots of avid cyclists? Also I am interested in what is the terrain like -- flat, rolling or hilly?

Charlotte is somewhat rolling but mainly flat with the occasional hill. Try Brevard NC, part of Dupont State Forest. Now there's a place to ride!
