Use of integrated fork with standard headset ???CdaleSteve

This may have been covered, but is it possible to use a fork designed for use with an integrated frame/headset with a standard frame/headset? The integrated fork appears to simply have a flatter top crown, but I'm not sure if this will cause interference.
I'd like to upgrade my wifes's CDale CAAD4 Sport frame with a carbon fork, and can get a cheap Slice SI fork mailed from a friend.
Thanks

The only difference is the shape of fork near the top. Crown race diameter and all other important dimensions are the same.
