Colnago colour choiceHiggins

I would like a new Colnago C50. I am sure I have read on here that some Colnago dealers are able to sell frames in custom colours. Is this true or was I dreaming? I fancy a frame in a solid plain colour like black, blue or red.

I remember seeing a C40 in the gallery that was painted in a blue/black fade, so a plain colour must be possible?

Thanks :-)

Colnago will now paint C-50 in any of the old paint schemes you request. You might be able to find old paint schemes at Trialtir.

The spider web scheme is awesome IMO. I ordered it about 3 months ago so I think it has to be getting close to being done.

yeah, there was one posted in the gallery in a blue to clear (that looks black in the pics but is probably carbon up close) fade that was gorgeous, but it has been a while...good luck finding it!

'nago will definitely do custom colors, although it took me all summer to get a standard color that i had to be prepared to wait. however, i am REALLY happy with mine and the wait was totally worth it. contact the maestro and he can set you up with a custom for cheap!

My wife and I got C-40's a couple of years ago. We ordered out of a catalogue at the bike shop. All the frames looked gaudy in the pictures so I got the plain OOF one. She got the yellow LX-14. When they came, I was immediately jealous. They look a lot better in real life. I wish I had gone all out gaudy and gotten the GEO. They are nice bikes though. I've enjoyed mine.

A plain Colnago would be like a Bianchi thats not painted in Celeste IMO.
I agree - don't go for blackkgg

Colnago has great paint schemes - pick one with colors you generally like, and I think you'll be pleased when it shows up.
