|I dropped by my LBS and noticed the 2004 Specialized Roubaix Pro w/DA 10 spd. WOW...it's a nice bike.
My question is...what's the retail price of this bike in the US?
My LBS, in Toronto, has it for C$4100
Also, is anyone familar with the sizing of Specialized frames (compact frames)?

|specialized is offering the bike in four sizes from 52cm to 58cm. This is virtual sizing as a "52cm" has a seat tube length of 43cm and a "58cm" is 49cm long. Their website geometry has the the toptube lenght measured horizontally and thats the important thing when sizing for a compact frame.|

Compared to the $3900 US dollar MSRP, C$4100 is pretty cheap.
Looks like a good value to me. The geometry is pretty standard and also clearly posted on the site.

|I work at a LBS that deals only in Specialized. I'll agree that when I first viewed the Roubaix in the catalog the pictures did nothing for me. However when the frame showed up in person, WOW ! Even the new DA crank which turned me off in the begining on it's looks alone, damn it looks hotter than a hooker in heat ! I placed my order for a new bike right there on the spot. I was never big on the "S" works road frames, because of their lack of guggi appeal, but this Roubaix, you gotta see it to believe it.|
