cracked rib /wiped out on ice/ a week ago, at least it isn't as painful to stay off the bike. Now, after I got it off the chest, any tips on sleeping?

"any tips on sleeping?" A Codeine 3 and a 22 ounce bottle of Big Bear Black Stout.

Just make sure you don't sneeze. I had never thought a sneeze could cause so much pain.
flat on your back, like a corpse . . .ms

It takes a while to get used to it, but when I hurt a rib, it was the least painful sleeping position.

The worse part is when you wake up and realize how much sitting up is going to hurt. I broke a rib once and I'd lay in bed for 15-20 minutes working up the courage to get up.

It doesn't last forever though. Aspirin helps, as does some alcohol.
