any indication of what the forum itself will be, I guess I'll be forced to go to another forum. I've come here almost every night for several years, I'll miss it.

After all it's brand new.

I must say though I like this/old format much better. This format is much easier to browse/scan thru topics and responses(better than any other forums) and the overall design is cleaner. The new format have too much stuff(nice but not sure how necessary) which is distracting and make it look like any other forum.
I'm sure we'll get used to itOldEdScott

but it's one ugly, user-unfriendly program.
Oh, good! I thought I was just getting old and grumpy.Cory

I've been using it for awhile over on the mountain board, and NOTHING comes naturally to me. I hope I get better at it, but after a couple of weeks I still have to think about every move and haven't figured out how to do some things I want to do.
Part of it IS getting used to it....sysop

...I know 'cuz I had to do the same thing. You have to give it a more than a day or two. Give it a few days, and then you'll start to see the advantages. There thing that takes getting used to, is how the conversations flow. It's definitely not the same as these boards.

Be sure to use the Hybrid display mode, as I think it makes the transition easier.

Thanks for hanging in there. As always, I am accessible via email:
