|But then I've changed my mind. It's yellow. Yellow is the fastest color of all.|
|nope.... it's white.||Dave Hickey|

|studies have shown that white is by far the fasteset color. Wind and sun reflect off of white. Darker colors absorb the wind and sun and slows the bike down......
If you believe any of this, I have some swamp land to sell:-)
|Seeing that white is the amalgam of all colors, you win Dave. nm||RemmingtonShowdown|

|Black in back, the black absorbs sunlight heating it up, which in turn heats up the the air around it which creates high pressure behind you. White in front reflects sunlight thereby staying cooler and which creates a relative low pressure compared to what's at you back. This pressure differential helps to propel you forward. Therefore a faster bike. These affects will be most noticeable if you are biking in a partial vacuum.|
|you are all wrong,it's CELESTE!||randell|

|"Celeste is best, you can chuck the rest,"
Was the opinion of our dear cycling friend Randall.
"It's a green that's mean, so fast it's obscene!
Other colors just can't hold a candle..."
Ah, but yellow seemed faster, as did blue and alabaster,
and a lovely shade of red.
But for speed that's rad, you have to pick plaid,
The color that leaves them for dead!

|Pink is fastest off road. Gotta ride faster than the bullies!|

|is that the color you got the bike in originally? i'm working with Curtlo on my bike now and am a bit bummed about the extremely small color selection on his site. what's the story on getting other colors?|
Feb 2, 2004 10:35 PM
|don't go by the ones on the site alone. I specifically asked for pink up front. He emailed me a sample photo of a pink from the powdercoater and it was the one he ended up using. At first he told me there may be an up-charge, but in the end there were no additional charges for paint.
Ask for what ya want!
PS - my frame took 5 months from the date I ordered it. That was a long, long time to wait.
