It looks it's got a 13-40 cassette in back :) With those wheels.. that's probably 2mph at 100rpm.

I was at the Moab FTF in '97. I did a ride with Hanbrink who originally created the small-wide wheel design. He rode one of those bikes (not the tandem version). They were very interesting. He was able to ride over any rediculous terrain at a very slow speed. Sand, slickrock, steep ledges were easily made. When the terrain was less challenging he shifted up and kept up with the pace. He was getting lots of attention.
