Another great pic. Luca Paolini from Quickstep. You shoot these with a digital camera? If so, what make and model.

They were taken with a film camera. Canon EOS Elan, probably with 400 or 800 speed print film. When i get the film developed I have them burn a CD as well.

The Caad 8 Aluminum/carbon that the rider on it is NOT Simoni. They must have made a few molds for it then in different sizes...anyone confirm this? By the way I hear the price of a Caad 8 is $8000.00 USA

If you look on the inside of a Caad 7 frame box there is a little note that states-"This frame is only durable to be in use for 2 seasons of average racing""

A local shop owner pointed this out to me one day last season when I was sitting around his shop on my crutches

If I recall, the bike's carbon tubed and aluminum lugged so no molds are needed. They're pretty much cut and glued into the lugs.

Danilo di Luca and Gilberto Simoni are about the same size but apparently di Luca rides a very steep seat tube. At least that's what Bici magazine said a few years back when he was riding as an amateur.
Regarding carbon.....divve

....and Trek. I hear their frame finish is full of embedded finger prints and dust. They're now working on a thicker paint to cover up the flaws.
