|I'm sweating off an obsession for a new bike that is getting ridiculous.
I have narrowed it down to a face-off between two beauties: Trek's 5200 and Scattante's CFR Carbon w/ Double Ultegra.
Check the specs, they're too close for comfort, and I CAN'T make up my mind! Have you experienced the sleepless nights, the sweats, the anxiety, the lust of a new bike just outside my reach... all because I can't pick ONE!
All I want is some straight answers. Help a guy out here, I'm dying. Line 'em up - can you pick just one!?

|I can't answer your question because I'm not you but here a some thoughts about the two frames
If resale matters, as nice as the Scattante is, it's a Supergo house brand frame. It won't be worth as much as the Trek. Treks are like Toyotas, they have a high resale value.
If you like riding something different than everone else, the 5200 is not for you. You see them everywhere. The Scattante draws attention because it's different.
Don't let people tell you the Scattante is a cheap Asian frame. The carbon quality coming out of Asia is excellent.
I know I didn't answer your question but maybe some of the above thoughts will help clear your mind..
Good luck and let us know what you choose.....

|Well warranty would matter to me with a carbon frame, So i'd go the Trek. And even though asian carbon is nice, trek carbon is made by (for me) people 20 miles away getting paid a fair wage and the waste from the production of the bikes isn't dumped in the river behind the factory...|| |
