NEW BIKE DELIVEREDfredstaple

My dream bike was delivered Wed, got it built up and took it first long ride this am. What a sweet ride. Carl Strong Frame, mix of Record and Chorus componants. Thompson Stem, Reynolds fork, Easton post and bars. Carl does a great job. This bike was built for comfort, and it delivers.

Front view. Saddle is my 22 year old Brooks, just can't give that up.

Nice. How much slope? Looks like a couple degrees. My Strong has a 6.7 slope and a frost yellow to silver front to back fade with relaxed 73 degree angles. All day comfort. The siver really shines in the sun...

Two degrees slope, also went with a bit of head tube extension and slopping stem to get me in a more upright position. I'm old and very inflexable, this bike fits me great. My front color dank moss. They do shine nice don't they!

I thought that head tube looked a little big, but I couldn't figure out if it was the angle that the photo was taken. I'm young(ish) and inflexible and that high head tube looks great to me.

Actually, the whole bike looks great, as does the other one down below. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice bike.
I let my Brooks saddle go with the sale of an older Raleigh Competition a few years ago. Been thinking of getting another someday. Comfort is right, once it's broken in well and right.
Congratulations on the new ride.

Mine's almost three years old and still rides like new. I hope you have many years of happy riding.
Great ad for Brooks SaddleContinental

My butt rides on Brooks on two of my three bikes. Someday I hope to move one of my old Brooks to a bike as nice as your Strong.
