Historicaly in past 3 years Postal rode Vuelta for Heras, with 4/3rd, 2nd and 1st podium finishes. Now with Heras out, what would they do? ride for Bertran? go after stage wins? will they ride it at all? ride for Lance if he looses TdF?
Ride for Lance if he wins TdFPdxMark

He can't ride the Giro, because it's before the TdF. If he wins the TdF, he can race the Vuelta to pick-up the double grand tour that has been a major criticism of him.

Or he just says, nah. Who in the US has heard of the Vuelta?

Beltran is the likely leader, and he could do very well in that role. Otherwise, they do what they did before Heras, which is try for stage wins.

As a Division 1 team, they are obligated to ride two grand tours, so they will definitely ride the Vuelta.
