I probably paid too much and I am sure it will gather dust next to my Merckx but such is the story of my life.

As far the frame goes.....ya got taste kid ya got taste =)

You'd be hard pressed against the local track babes in Asheville on a ride like that, I know that was probably what you were thinking to begin with lol =P

...Hell I'll just ask you to beat the guy silly and bring it to me. Why pay when we could set up our own crime network. The guy hung the frame on a wall as display art...you gotta ride a rig like that (laughs)
Shame to make such a pretty bike stay home all the time.dzrider

The dropouts look real fixed-worthy to me. I'd make it something different and have a reason to take her out. Enjoy.
She's a beauty!innergel

Those dropouts look fix-worthy to me as well.

After seeing this frame, biknben's Surly CrossCheck SS, and Dave Hickey's Look, I'm now officially jonesing for a fixie of my very own. Unfortunatly I ride a 63cm, so finding a good condition, steel frame on the cheap might be a tad bit difficult. Not to mention trying to get it past the wife :-)
I apologize to biknben and Dave Hickey...innergel

if I misidentified your bike as a SS if it was a fixed gear or vice versa. I did not mean to offend :-) I'm just starting to get into this type of bike, so I'll claim ignorance.
SS and proud of it. No apologies needed nmDave Hickey

Its such an ugly color that its cool. How could anyone buy a Bianchi in any other color? A friend of mine bought a white one, and it was all I could do not to slap him.

That frame would make a nice fixed gear bike. Classic steel bike with horizontal drop outs. You could do it pretty cheaply and it would give you an entire different riding sensation.
