He's really been spending a lot of time with her lately. Here's a story from the local paper:

I bought it yesterday. Never realized she had so many hits. My favorite is the "picture" with Kid Rock.

For the life of me, I just don't understand what the big turn on is with Sheryl Crow. In my honest opinion she is rather homely and as for her music, well I think it just sucks! Lance, I'm totally disappointed in you. Sorry for the rant!

She's cool in person and laughs when you bag on Lance's singing with Lyle. Personality counts my friend and she's got it....

You are so right in that personality does count, but 'cause she laughs when as you put it "bag on Lance's singing with Lyle" hardly constitutes personality. Lucinda Williams is pretty cool in concert also, but I would hesitate to say that she has a great personality. Musically .... no comparison, Lu has the soul!!!!

Sheryl? Homely? HAH! When I say the words "paint chips" does that conjur up memories when you were just youngin? Does it make you hungry? However, you did mention Lu, so maybe you just had a momentary lapse of reason =D

I didn't meet her at a concert and it was over the span of a few hours so I got a little glipmse of the truth.
True, Lu has the soul, but Sheryl ROCKS.KG 361

She is OK, my friend.

SC couldn't "rock" her way out of a paper bag, but she has released some good tunes I grant you. Think you confused "rock" with "pop", and SC is definitely the latter.
Not in the AC/DC sense.KG 361

But then, I wouldn't like it if she did. Her last CD (not greatest hits) had some decent pop/rockers. I've heard some live stuf that is pretty good, too.
Naaah. If I were Lance, I would hold out for.....Gregory Taylor

...Joan Jett. Now THERE's a rocker. Sheryl Crow isn't worthy enough to wash Ms. Jett's spandex.
