|Anyone out there had good/bad experience with glory cycles online store? just curious...|

|I placed an order for tubies that I verified over the phone were in stock as well as a spare tubie pouch...also in stock. Apparently the tires I wanted weren't in stock in my color, and they didn't have as many spare tire pouches as were ordered at the time. My tires came in, but now the order waits for the tubie pouch to come in again since they didn't save one for me, rather filled orders ready to ship first, not the order in which they were made. So now I sit waiting for an order that was placed two weeks ago. Good thing I was ordering early this year and can afford to wait. I don't like shops that list and sell stuff on their site they don't have in stock. They order what you want after you place your order. I can get that kind of service from my local bike shop and not pay the shipping.|

|But you should have asked them to ship all items that were in stock and you'd have had the pouchs. It's common for stores to hold all items until they can ship them together to save shipping costs, unless you tell them otherwise. Still, you'd have had to pay two shipping charges and you'd have the pouches but no tires. You will probably still save money because the LBS would likely have a higher price and you'd pay tax. Guess that's the trade off, low price vs. service.
I ordered a couple of items from them about a month ago and all went well. Good price, prompt shipping, no errors. I'd order from them again.

|Have purchased from them twice, and recommend them highly! Mr. de Souza (owner) is very responsive to all email questions, their prices were very good, and the products arrived promptly. What more can you ask for?|

|Clive built me a fabulous bike last month. I had teething problems (mainly fit issues), and he was calm and willing to work through the problems. Great service in my book.

|Ordered a stem on 12/23/03
Rec'd confirmation 12/23/03
No communication as of 1/10/04 so I emailed to check on status 1/10/04
Rec'd response 1/10/04 - Glory will recieve on Monday 1/12/04 and ship immediately. Tracking number will be forwarded.
No further communication as of 1/21/04. Again emailed to check response.
Rec'd response 1/21/04 - Glory still hasn't received product. Want to cancel or credit?
Bottom line - Not terrible by any stretch, but perhaps a bit lacking in the communication department. Should have been notified immediately that it wasn't a stock item
