repairing lycra? any chance?CritLover

Last summer my only team skinsuit got a bit tore up during a rainy crit and got a good 2-3 inch hole in the thigh. Lately I've been taking a spin class and I'd really like to wear the skinsuit. Now, because it's a really comfy Castelli pad, I'd like to make them wearable.

Is there any way to repair this kind of tear? Or is it just a lost cause? Any experiences or advice would be most appreciated!

If you have an old worn out pair of shorts, cut a patch out of the old pair and sew it into the pair you're fixing. If it's a rip rather than a big round hole, you should be able to sew it together without using a patch.
Take it to the cleaners-pay $10-they'll fix it beautifully (nm)RemmingtonShowdown
