Congrats! Nice choice. I WISH I had done a Project one, even though I like the satin silver as well. I am planning on a P1 04 5.9 at the end of the season to build into a custom sub 14lb bike for races only so I can train on the Madone. I will do this only if my season is successful in acheiving my goals.

I just love the look of the Madone. I expect it to be a little more stiff and a little more subject to cross winds then a regular OCLV. I played around on a 56cm Madone the other day and it was Very Nice. I'd be surprised if we are disappointed. The Tequila is great and I'd love to see pics of both your bikes. Let me know how you like the bike as well. I was relieved to see that even local shops are not asking close to reatail for them.

I like the new DA stuff alot but I prefer the hoods of the 9spd but the levers of the 10spd are better. But believe me it doesn't really matter. I think shimano really did a nice job over all. They have not bought into the carbon that Campy has all though I'm glad one of them did. Lets see how it holds up to the grueling punishment of day to day racing/training and the inevitable crashing. Where do you ride Bob? If your someplace warm send us some digi pics, as a fellow conosuer it's always a pleasure to see

I'm in VT most of the time and make frequent trips to NC. Lets hook up for some rides. I'm not sure if you race but I will be at most NE races from Monson,Tour of hilltowns and fitchburg to about 8-10 SE races as well if you ever wanna go. By all means though we should ride together. Im in the sugarbush valley and go to school at UVM.
