When I was a kid this was the bike that got all the oohs and ahhs.

...in my neighborhood if you had one of those you were King.They had different names for each color.The Orange Crate,Lemon Peeler,Cherry Picker,Pea picker and a white one that I can't remember.Man those were some awsome bikes to ride around the neighborhood on.I never had one but a couple of guys did.You knew you were there friend if they let you ride it.If I remember correctly there were some problems with that shift stick on the top tube.Caused some nasty injuries if you fell forward.Some of them had full suspension to.

after seeing what one can sell for on eBay! I'm pretty sure I had the Cherry Picker (it's been so long ago), but I seem to recall one also being called the Apple Crate.

Ticked me off that he also threw out my Jets-Colts Super Bowl III electric football game. Probably one of the most important championship games ever played, which may have added to its eBay value.

Grape Crush?

bought it with my I saved from my paper route. If I remember correctly, it cost right around $99.

ended up giving it to some middle-schooler when I was in high school. maybe he's still riding it.
