|When I was a kid this was the bike that got all the oohs and ahhs.
I wonder it it will top out over 2 grand.

|...in my neighborhood if you had one of those you were King.They had different names for each color.The Orange Crate,Lemon Peeler,Cherry Picker,Pea picker and a white one that I can't remember.Man those were some awsome bikes to ride around the neighborhood on.I never had one but a couple of guys did.You knew you were there friend if they let you ride it.If I remember correctly there were some problems with that shift stick on the top tube.Caused some nasty injuries if you fell forward.Some of them had full suspension to.|

|after seeing what one can sell for on eBay! I'm pretty sure I had the Cherry Picker (it's been so long ago), but I seem to recall one also being called the Apple Crate.
Ticked me off that he also threw out my Jets-Colts Super Bowl III electric football game. Probably one of the most important championship games ever played, which may have added to its eBay value.

bought it with my I saved from my paper route. If I remember correctly, it cost right around $99.
ended up giving it to some middle-schooler when I was in high school. maybe he's still riding it.
