|If I have 5,000 miles on my road bike frame and fork does it have much life left or does it need to be replaced as soon as possible? (Its a trek 2300 incase your wondering)|

|I put over 30,000 miles on my Torelli before buying my Strong Foco. I now have 20,000 miles on the Strong, and it still feels like new. 5,000 miles is nothing for a well-built road bike.|

|Another Torelli rider? Wow, don't run into too many of those. I rode a Corsa Strada for years before buying a Lemond Zurich this year. Loved the feel of the frame, and that was one of their cheaper models. Sometimes wonder how their current models compare.
5000 miles doesn't seem like any big deal, but I do hear about people on here who've broken bars or stems, so wouldn't hurt to check the metal for wear every now and then.

|I have way over 25,000 miles on an old Mercian king with reynolds tubing - and it still rides great|| |
