I dressed out this morning for a quick one. Got less than 1/2 mile from the house, 20 mph gusts, 15 degrees (who knows including the wind chill) and turned around. My exposed skin felt like it was on fire.

I parked the bike in the basement and jumped on the trainer. BORING, but it was a good workout anyway.
6 degrees in NYC projected for Saturday amvelocity

Had been planning at least on doing laps in Central Park but, if it's as cold as accuweather is predicting, I'll go to the gym or for a run ... or sit my ass on the couch and read instead. No trainer at home : (

You still in VT? I was up @Stowe last weekend. Tried going snowboarding but it was rainy and REAL foggy Sat. morning. Stowe discouraged us from buying lift tickets so we went xc skiing instead.

Speaking of cold weather, I biked to work today! It's only a 4 mile or so commute so I wasn't out there for an extended period of time.

"RACKN FRACKN" - you sound like the old man in "A Christmas Story"!

What's new? Countdown for the Madone is now how many days?
