This is my first photographic exercise of a cycling race, hope you like it. Usually you have little opportunity to see world class cyclists race in Hong Kong. This time we have David Millar, he was born and raised in Hong Kong.

David Millar and Franz Stocher.

David's saddle is very high, looked as if half a foot about his bar. His position is very aero when on the drop.

Anchor. The Brigestone teams in Japan ride them. A beautiful bike, unmistakable whatever the paint work.

Thanks Kai-Ming for sharing your photos. I look forward to your future posts. Enjoy your season, it's currently -19 degrees centigrade here in Denver, Colorado. Not many cyclists to be found around here ;-)
Thanks for the encouragement !kai-ming

The weather here is good now, +21 degree C, just finished a training ride on my favourite loop in Hong Kong island. I have planned a cycling trip in China with chi-ming next week and a photographic/sight-seeing trip with my wife (no cycling with her) in India after that. So I may post in mid-Feb if I got some pictures.
No gloves on Millar...ouch..n.m.koala

Oh my, to be up close and personal with David Millar- it's a female racer's dream come true! I'm too jealous! And the bike was nice looking also, wouldn't mind seeing that up close either. Check em out- http://www.corratec.com/index.php?eng=1

I didn't know races got such a big turnout in Asia- it's nice to know bike racing is addictive everywhere. Just curious- did the women have a race also?

Thanks for posting, the pics are great for your first.
(I think I need a cold shower now)

Women race is not popular here. Have not seen any international woman racer here yet.

Taken moments after Millar won his rainbow jersey at the Hamiltons World. I'm sure you'll enjoy ;-)

Which part do you find funny? I guess you don't spend much time with female racers who follow the pro peleton. Millar's high on the lust list. He may be skinny, but so are most of the pros. Sorry he doesn't meet your requirements.

Davide is giving up. He did not look fit, cyclingnews reported that he collapsed when he got off his bike.
