|Check out this artcle on the race series (from our local paper). It occupied about 65% of the front page of the Metro section yesterday--Sunday's paper is in color here.
Finally, it's over. Five weeks, four races (skipped the holiday weekend), an exceptional learning and growth experience.
Big thanks to everyone who helped, in every way.
I have a special appreciation of all series sponsors.
Our latest sponsor? Consumer Review. Thanks, Gregg, for the socks & schwag!
A couple pics for your entertainment: this is how the course got back to my house after the race.
I'm so very, very tired. Happily so.

|Hope everything got there in time JS.
Thanks for putting on the series, and giving us an inside view of what it takes to put on a race.

|we restructured the series overall 1/2/3 prizes on friday night, to allow for more door prizes, some fun stuff, and a prize for series DFL in all classes except "A". saturday was the final race. sunday was the cross-country run series race #1, where i saw more than a couple pairs of mtbr.com socks splattered with mud after a fast & brutal 3k in spitting rain.
thanks again G!

|and next to my bianchi "your bike sucks" socks, they got more comments than any socks I've ever worn. Granted, it's generally pretty hard to get excited about socks, but at least 3 other runners and my fashion savvy wife all commented that the mtbr socks looked cool.|| |
