FSA compact crank - CREAKINGBNA_roadie

Anyone have problems with this crank, FSA Carbon Pro Elite Compact, creaking? Any solutions? Thanks in advance,

I have 5k on mine no problems. Are you sure its the crank and not the bottom bracket? The latter seems more likely. I just rebuild my Dura-Ace that strated grinding and it spins like a charm again. I suggest that you pull the cranks off and turn you BB. If it is moving hard, rugged and grinding replace or rebuild. If it is the crank afterall, the FSA tech support is outstanding. Just give them a call.

The answer in both cases is to remove, clean the threads, grease all contact surfaces and tighten fully. In the case of the BB, this often means the use of a torque wrench to get to the proper specification. Grease on the splines of the BB axles as well. If you're using an ISO BB, then a very thin film of grease on the tapers.
