Anybody else having trouble posting/responding? I can get into General most of the time, but almost everything else fails. Been doing it off and on since Wednesday.

have been unable to open the forum pages -- a window pops up telling me that the server is broken or busy. Something about the way it happens makes me think that it is some sort of compatibility problem with aol as a browser, particularly since I then can access the forum pages using Netscape or Internet Explorer. Something is going on -- I have been wasting my time on this forum for years, and this only has started happening a short time ago.
I've had problems for while now...bicycle268

I have Aol and have been experiencing the "server" error every couple days. This blocks my entry into the forums. The system is also VERY slow so that if I scroll down the list of threads there is considerable lag time between when I scroll and the screen actually moves. I always thought it was because of the Competitive cyclist ads...
are you also using AOL, Cory?gregg

The other two respondents to your thread cite AOL as the common denominator.

The usually 3 things to check (besides AOL) are:

-Norton A/V
-Popup blockers
-Firewall settings

Try tweaking these, and it should work. These solve 95% of most problems.

That's probably it. I'm AOL at home, but I haven't tried to go on from there for a few days. Just found out they redid some firewall stuff at work this week to try to limit the number of ads I get for body-part enlargement (I'm going broke buying bigger wheelbarrows every couple of days). I'll speak encouragingly to the techs. Thanks...

This forum lags like a slow dog in the heat of a humid summer for me. I use AOl dial up ( my main problem..I know) I have A/V shut down and no firewall..Is it just my connection, my older computer. Never did this up to about 6 months or so ago.
