I quit counting and took the computers off a couple months ago, mostly. got the burnout and took some time off the bike starting end of september.

a conservative guess for the year would be 8,000 miles at about 500 hours. that does not include mtb rides or races, which probably account for another 20 hours, and cyclocross course scouting & races, which probably total another 100 miles (?hr).

so, 8k/500h is my story and i'm sticking to it.

We also ingored our computers in Dec. 12,000+ for me 18,000+ for Miss M. nmMB1

And before anyone cries "slowpoke" there's a lot of stop/go commuter miles and some MTB riding figured in there ;-)

My goal for '03 was 7500, so I beat it by a bit. With a wife, two small kids, a house, and a full-time job, I feel lucky to get in as many miles as I do.

Not that I did a lot (first season and I started in July and didn't ride for much of the winter) but on my computer I have 786 miles and 61000' of climbing.

I don't keep track of hrs. I had 573.5 commuting and 559.5 on the SS/fixie, the rest on my geared bikes.

I would have had more if I wasn't running as well,
417 miles running. I figure if I rode on the running days, I'd have about another 1000 miles. Oh well to do duathlons, you have to run
and then some. . .Mike P

7732 miles.
465 hours.
337,381 feet of climbing (# does not include rides under 1000' climbing). The reason I include this figure is one of my goals for 2003 was to start climbing a bit more. The result is almost comical to me; I don't know what I was expecting but it was certainly less than I ended up with.
